I was looking out the window just now at the cascading snowmen I created (photos below) and something struck me, in a Bill Nye The Science Guy kind of way.  If I were to lay on the ground in front of the smallest snowman and take a picture of all of the snowmen would they look the same height?  I was losing the day's light and laying on the snow was pretty chilly, but I managed to snap one good shot:  it's snow illusion
